Every first Thursday of the month
The LiveTanzBar is our social event with a live band at the Parkhotel in Weißer Hirsch. On the first Thursday of every month, regional and national swing bands play live (e.g., New Town Swing Orchestra (NTSO), Dresden Bigband, Monsieur Pompadour, Blue Alley Jazz Band).
The LiveTanzBar is a long-established social event where a large number of swing dancers from Dresden and the surrounding area meet, dance, and celebrate swing. This makes the evening a great opportunity to meet swing dancers, get to know them, and of course dance!
Before the live band starts, our dance teachers will show you a few swing basics so that even newcomers or beginners can get a taste of what it's all about.
